Between 5:57 PM and 6:13 PM today, some customers in the NSW region may have experienced a loss of DHCP leases, resulting in affected subscriber sessions being unable to renew connectivity.
At approximately 5:57 PM, Encoo detected that a number of NSW customers had stopped renewing their DHCP leases. Upon further investigation, engineers identified an unexpected memory-related issue within the DHCP lease management system.
After an initial assessment, the affected service was restarted, allowing new DHCP lease requests to be processed successfully. Service operation was restored at approximately 6:13 PM.
Our engineering team is continuing to review system logs to determine the underlying cause and implement any required preventative measures.
